Made of 100% compostable bamboo and bio-based bristles, this toothbrush is 100% plant-based and made with no petroleum!
While this brush is completely plant-based, the bristles are not compostable. They are made of Nylon 1010 which is made from castor oil. This is more environmentally friendly than petroleum-based Nylon but, while this material will eventually degrade and return to the soil, it is not biodegradable. 
Usage: Use as instructed by dentists.
Disposal: Remove head and keep the handle to refill. Remove bristle with tweezers or pliers and put in the garbage. Compost or repurpose bamboo head.
Low waste - contains non-compostable plant-based bristles, comes in a paper box, and is refillable.
